Because no one warns you that entrepreneurship can feel like corporate burnout — just with comfier pants and worse boundaries.

my journey started like this...

Once upon a time, I was a bright-eyed, determined hot mess.

I thought leaving my 9–5 as a health journalist would finally set me free — and give me the fulfillment I’d been searching for. Instead, I stepped into entrepreneurship (to start my health coaching business) wearing a new hustle-culture uniform.

my version of "success"? it looked a lot like:

Burnout (even from work I loved)

Measuring my worth by productivity alone

Creativity that felt forced or uninspired

Sacrificing sleep, self-care, and spontaneity for the grind (LOL — and as a health coach, I’m supposed to practice what I preach))

Living on caffeine, stimulants, and “someday I’ll rest” energy

A business running on empty… and without heart

And, because why not make it even messier — I was barely making any $$ at all.

but here's the twist...

I realised I was hustling in masculine overdrive — following everyone else’s “success” rulebook, equating my value with busyness, and forcing the same output every single day. And honestly? That kind of hustle isn’t sustainable.

I didn’t fully see what was happening until a nasty lower-respiratory illness knocked me out for a month.

As a solopreneur whose business depended entirely on me, everything ground to a halt. The irony? I’d spent years snarking at others for falling sick while I prided myself on my “good health.”

That’s when it hit me: no amount of workouts or broccoli can make up for a body stuck in constant survival mode. My business — and the clients I serve — needed me to actually take care of myself.

the new story I created.

I needed a new story of success, because the one I’d been influenced to follow clearly wasn’t it.

Through neuroscience research, biohacking, self-experiments, and plenty of trial and error, I discovered the practices that helped me step away from the masculine, cookie-cutter version of hustle and into a way of working that finally feels aligned with who I am...

...my vision, my soul, and the natural energy cycles of my unique brain and body.

now, I’m on a mission to help women entrepreneurs do the same.

Build sustainable businesses that run on systems, not stress

Measure progress by impact and joy, not numbers

Take guilt-free breaks that actually fuel productivity

Feel energized and inspired to work on what truly matters
